How are they upgrades. Coaches moving from the NFL to College dont work so x. Kelly is at Cincy wow so impressive I could do what he is. Tubberville did not average in 5 years what Les has already done. lol you idiots need to learn the game and stop bitching like you just got a spanking from momma. Show some class for once.
a valiant effort, but you will be outnumbered today and tomorrow. a loss like today erases all perspective. even from me. i don't want him gone but i feel like i'll be putting a "yet" at the end of that sentence soon.
I'm sure this record will get him another year but mark it down, the SEC coaches just got the best recruiting tool they need when they are after the same players, they will just play that last couple of minutes over and over. WHat he has done is no guarantee of where he is headed. He has some of the best players in the country wondering if they made mistakes.
Make no mistake, Miles isn't going to lose his job for the abysmal meltdown at the end of last season or the poor home stretch this year. I hope he rights the ship and takes the bullets out of the guns of every fan that has him in their sights. But based on trends of how the team has generally performed on the biggest stage, I can see that this is not a subject that will go away soon. To those who say it's ludicrous to consider alternatives, I have to disagree. I'd rather see him stay and be successful, but CLM continues to find creative ways to lose some games that he's expected (rightfully so) to win. If he were at his alma mater and were getting bitch slapped by tOSU every year and winning his other games, he'd already be gone. Just ask Lloyd Car and Gary Moeller with their .753 and .758 winning percentages who weren't beating their rivals.
This is a terrible argument. Nick Saban took a terrible 3-9 LSU team with little top talent and made them a compettitive team in one year, and won a national championship in his 4th year. What did Miles do? Took one of the most talented teams in the country, and steadily turned them into a mediocre team. He should have 60 wins and multiple NCs with the talent he's had. He needs to go, and you know it.
Bobby Bowden I hear he's going to have some free time on his hands and has proven himself!! This is a dumb thread Miles is not going any where. This thread should read who is going to replace Crowton!:geaux:
So it's seems like the fault for poor coaching never lies with our head coach Les Miles, but instead it's seems to always be the fault of the coordinators and assistant coaches. Who's hiring these misfits then?
If Miles does leave or is replaced, I want Mike Slive as our Head Coach. We're guaranteed to get every call and the replay booth won't be a problem. 2009 - The Year the SEC Football Championship was rigged!
