A close, emotional, hard fought Florida win would help us. The Gaytors will be high fiving all week, coming down off an emotional high and a little beat up. A good example would be our triple overtime loss to Kentucky in '07 after the same type of win over Florida the week before. We were not at all ready to play Kentucky.

    I'm a little torn.

We need 'Bama to have a loss, unless we go 12-0.

We need Florida to be exposed and/or beat up a little bit before we come to town.

    Maybe it's a win/win for LSU.

In analyzing all of the scientific data to this point:

In the thread it seems emotionally a strong lean to the gators. However in the college pick em thread, the last look had Bama 15 to 4 over the Gators.

So, say what you may, when push comes to shove, meaning, if you had to bet the house, you are taking the Crimson Tide.

    I can live with that.

That's true. Our coach didn't want us to even help the other guy get up after a play. "Let them use their own energy."

I have a friend who refs hs football. He told me the other day that he was sick and tired of seeing players get up and strut and dance. He said that in a recent game, one player made a decent tackle and got up dancing. He said he wanted so badly to tell him, "Do you realize that the man you tackled has beat you for a td THREE times so far tonight?" :insane:

Yes, the question is who are you pulling for...not who do you think will win.

btw...for most picks...if I want a team to lose really really bad...i pick them to win the game

There are six teams in the SEC Western division, correct? ALABAMA, AUBURN, ARKANSAS, LSU, OLE MISS, AND MSU. If "ANY" of those six goes undefeated in "division" play, then they go to the SECCG in Atlanta. They could lose every "other" game they play, but are still western division champs and play in the SECCG. Of course, if they are looking toward a NC, then I suggest they win those other games.

Not so fast. Overall SEC record is the first criteria for winning the division. A 5-3 team that won all western division games but lost all eastern division games is bested by a 6-2 team that lost two western division games and won its eastern division games.

It's going to be a very long time before the majority of Tiger fans are going to get over the fact that you guys have our old coach. If you remember for most of the last decade, LSU fans hated Auburn a lot more than we did Alabama.

This is like when USuCk played Texas for the NC I was hoping the refs would win. I hate both the gumps and florida. It really is a matter of who I hate less. Currently I hate florida just a little less. That being said go florida. (I think I just vomited in my mouth)

I'd rather Bama win... Only because if we make it to that point in the schedule and we're still undefeated, I want them undefeated too. I'd also prefer we beat them with a PP7 interception to make up for the bad call the Bama booster, er uhm.. I mean "ref" made.
