So if I get this, you can foresee losing to Bama at home, but beating Florida and Auburn and Ar-Kansas on the road, but we can't beat Florida and Auburn at our house but travel to BR and handle the Tigers? Ya, that will probably get you to Atlanta.
red has all that tie breaker shyt, if that played out (and it won't) he'll splain you dat. Pretty sure he just took it at face value and was only asking- without taking into consideration the home fields, etc.
I don't remember his name, but a former Georgia football announcer back in the 40s or 50s was asked to call the annual Harvard-Yale game. On his walk to the stadium the day of the game, a Yalie walked up to him and asked, "Who do you prefer in today's game, fair Yale or the despicable Harvard?" He looked at the Yalie for a few seconds then replied, "Neither. Y'all are both Yankees and I hope you both lose." Bout sums it up right there.
Hah. I actually predicted the complete opposite of that, losing to Auburn and Florida. If I were to update it now, I honestly think we can beat Florida but would be worse against Arkansas. Call me crazy(I'm sure you will), but I think LSU can match up well to exploit Florida's flaws. I think it could happen, I honestly do. Anything can happen with rivalry games, which is why I picked Auburn as a more likely loss for Alabama than anyone else. Plus Auburn is 4-1 in Tuscaloosa.
Their weakness will actually play into ours- young secondary(them)/no QB (us). May the weaker team lose. Their offense ain't all that either, our defense should take care of bidness.
