Having a strong recruiter isn't bad, but having good x&o guys and technical coaches is important too.
Good I know my brand of humor seems harsh but its all tongue in cheek. Still would like to see you really toot O's horn.
Three things: 1) I love LSU, but live a long way away. You guys are close to the program. Nationally, it is considered good, but not that great. Just telling you what I have learned in living all over the country for 30 years. I never cease to profess my love of LSU football, and the reactions are generally not that great. I know you don't want to hear that, but that is word. Tiger Stadium is recognized as a great place, LSU football, no where near. 2) I offered up Fedora a year ago and was pummeled by the board. Was surprised to see his name even in print. 3) I don't think we are going to do any better (or can get any better) than Coach O next year. Not saying better is not out there but I don't think we get better.
Prior to UF I was pushing for Eaux. I've cooled on that for the reasons I've stated. You disagree but haven't responded to all my points. I like a lot about Eaux and I'd still consider him, I just think he needed to be transcendent despite the rough hand he was dealt and that UF loss was not transcendent. I didn't call you names once. Care to respond to other points I've made about Eaux?
