I still think LSU is a much better job then UT, and we're not a total rebuild like they are either. The right push and monetary offer I think Herman would be a fool to not give serious consideration to LSU. Add in the fact that he can retool this offense into a potent squad, he also knows the value of defense and I think he'd look at keeping Aranda based on what he's done. Imo he's the guy Alleva should be seriously pushing on.
Not my choice, but I dont trust ol Joe to make it right. I see that dude slipping in based off his work at Bama and Saban giving him a good word.
Certainly don't hate that idea at all. I'm just a bit more partial to Oeaux because of his style and the way he turned this team around.
I like O, but I think as HC LSU's ceiling is 8 games a year, maybe 9. You don't fire a Miles for that.
In retrospect now I don't see it as a big problem. He was preventing the team from succeeding and Oeaux allowed it to succeed. I think our recent success justified miles's firing a bit.
Not to mention he would have the run of the state. In Texas he has to deal with several teams fighting over recruits.
