I think geauxtigers45 has a POINT. There were some bad decisions. I also remember "fear the hat crap" when his offbeat decisions paid off. I think probobly 99.9% of the azzwipes posting here hasn't the balls to even devote their careers to coaching. I'm one of them. It's kinda funny reading all the posts from the expert wannabes second guessing decisions made by major college coaches. Most all of the "real" coaches worked for peanuts for several years to get where they are now. And they got there by winning. Go figure. Miles has very little time left in his contract. Everybody knows that if he doesn't come through next year he'll be fired. Give me a break and get off his azz. He brought you a Nat'l Championship in '07. Do you really forget that fricking quick? Are you all just a bunch of azzwipes? If you have half a brain, you gotta give him one more year. He deserves it. Before Saban got here, we didn't get the championship for more years than I've lived. GET A FRICKIN GRIP! Nothing wrong with commenting on his play calling. We're fans, that's what we do. He could have left LSU to Michigan and probobly made more money. He didn't do that, he stayed! He has integrity, why don't you show him some? Even if he's fired at the end of next year, he'll always be an LSU coach in my mind. I'll NEVER forget him lifting that crystal in the SuperDome for all of the state of Louisiana. I'll always love the guy for what he brought to us. Back off and give the guy a break, maybe he ain't the best coach in college football, but he brought us the glory and the crystal. Miles may be a Michigan man from long ago, but He's a HELLUVA LSU man now. He'll always be an LSU man, no matter how you azzwipes degrade him. I love the guy. If you don't, go worship Charlie MacClendon's grave. I love Charlie too, but he didn't bring to LSU what Miles did.
A little strong toned but the message is a good one. Good post charlie. I appreciate saban for the nc in 03, and i'll always appreciate miles for the nc in 07. I do believe miles should be here next season and i think there's going to be some serious attention paid to certain areas, miles knows he has next year to right these wrongs or his contract risks being let go the following season... i like him, he has obvious love for the athletes and university and does what's needed to help getting departing staff members jobs, he's done great in recruiting. He's done alot here and i hope he sticks around... but please drop crowton.
