It isn't just Obama. Any democrat would be destroying the economy the same way. Just as some say that the republicans have moved too far right and Reagan himself couldn't win the nomination, the democrats have moved so far left the democrats Reagan , bill Clinton , would not be liberal enough. Any democrat would be a pelosi/ Obama clone and be spewing the same vile rhetoric about class warfare causing uncertainty in the business world. Any of today's democrats would be using the EPA to push a climate change agenda that couldn't be passed in congress.Business' would be sitting on their money waiting to see what's next if any other democrat was doing what Obama is doing. I think all of the moderate blue dog democrats are gone. I voted for Mary landreau for senate twice. After the yes vote for Obamacare I don't think she stands a chance.
