And all people from California only live in OC. The damnedest place.

" football culture here in Southern California." LA is really part of the entire SoCal region. If football games had to be attended by only those in the downtown area, there wouldn't be much of anything to talk about because they play futbol.

Yes, really. I go to Ducks games a few times a year. The Pond (I refuse to call it the new name) is a great venue. I ain't driving all the way to Staples to see the Kings.

Of course not. My point being that OC is part of SoCal and we aren't all Kings, Dodgers, Clippers fans. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of SoCal of California are also a favorite team of mine.

I meant in respect to him becoming a Kings fan, as everybody should be.

Well then, I will see you at the pond when the Kings are in. I have a stick signed by the great one. I'll let you touch it if you are nice.

I'd be disappointed to learn this were true. I have nothing against Coach O; I think he's done all that's possible to this point, and barring a collapse in the last 4 games, has certainly earned the right to interview. I know some think beating Bama should make it a done deal, but it should take more than that. The goal year in and year out is not to beat Bama; its to win championships. That said, I think Coach O earns the job without a search if he runs the table. At that point, he would have done all he can to win the SEC title. It would not be his fault if Auburn also runs the table and wins it.

Don't get me wrong, I am a Kings fan. I used to go to games pre-Gretzky when you could walk up 5 minutes before game time and sit just about anywhere you wanted. But the Ducks are closer and I like hockey no matter what, so...

I have a Koho stick signed by Gretzy and several others. A company I used to work for had some great perks. On one occasion a group of us got to go on the ice pre-game and take shots at the goal. You missed, you were out. Last person on the ice who hadn't missed a shot got to keep the stick. :D

Who the hell wants to do that shit? It doesn't go fast enough. I also got to on the floor before a Lakers game and shoot baskets. I got a nice signed basketball for making the most free throws. :D

When we came off the court, we spent about an hour in the press ready room, eating and drinking. The players all came by after warm-up. Shaq is.....an enormous human being. And very charming/funny.
