If there are 305,421,041 people in the United States and the average family size is 3.14 and Obama is going to help 105 million American families...who in the hell is going to pay the bills?

    105,000,000 x 3.14 = 329,700,000

For the 1st time in my life, I'm seriously considering NOT voting.

I consider my self to be an independant. And don't really vote along party lines either direction, rather which PERSON i think will do the better job.

Personally, I'm not impressed with either of these guys.

Where do you get these figures? Obama's web site states "Obama and Biden will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. "

McCain/Palin. After a long time of going back-and-forth reading the candidates' plans, listening to debates and reading tons of "professional" articles, I've made up my mind. Fact of the matter is, Obama is NOT experienced, and I would hate to see what that whacko would accomplish with a democratically controlled house and senate. At least McCain would throw a wrench in the sprocket, so to speak, and it might help out in the long run.

Insurance and healthcare issues are big to me (still fighting Blue Cross/Shield to pay for my bone marrow transplants,) but to be honest none of the proposed "solutions" will work. Fact of the matter is, we can't afford the $3,000,000+ bills, that's why my dad bought insurance for us, and since I'm in school, it covers me until I'm 24. Well, I'm 23 right now and will have to buy my own plan shortly, however I'm still FAR from finished with school since I had to sit out because I'm still immune-compromised. That means I also can't work. I'm basically screwed. It's a good thing my dad makes $120,000+ a year (plus bonuses and stuff,) our I'd be in the streets, literally. My situation's unique and won't be solved by either candidate's proposed plan.

But think of the less fortunate people. It's scary. Healthcare is a serious issue. Having the govt stop issuing plans because you're already sick should be a crime. Seriously, what is the point of healthcare if it doesn't do what it says it will? It's kind of like insurance. If it were possible, I wouldn't even buy insurance. It's a scam. Private corporations should be monitored by the government until they can practice fair business models. I'm against it, but someone has to make sure that they play by the rules.

Your Republican Administration bought $150 Billion in previously private banks last week. Talk about socialism . . .

Well if Obama's good friends Freddie and Fannie wouldn't have made these banks give out bad loans, this wouldn't have happened.

For one I called my congresswoman and asked her to vote no (which she did).

However, that's like being on a diet and saying "well I ate one piece of cake, so I might as well eat the whole cake."

So you would compound a mistake with another mistake?

I don't love a lot about McCain, and if I liked ANYTHING about BHO, I still wouldn't vote for him just to keep check and balances going.

"What that just did in one sound-bite -- and I assume that sound-bite will end up in an ad -- is it eliminated the experience argument,'' Gingrich said. ``How are you going to say the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs, former national security adviser, former secretary of state was taken in?''--Newt on Colin Powell's endorsement of O.

and i believe that obama's healthcare plan would help you. im not sure, but i think a major part of it is no denial for preexisting conditions.
