It's hard for me to vote for the Bears, but I did. Living in Chicago makes that decision for me. Even though they beat my Saints and the Colts have Addai, I will root for Da Bears. I'll root for Addai to rack up all the yards in the world, though...
The colts. Not only are they my 2nd favorite team but I absolutely hate every single person on the Bears team. Not to mention, I think Urlacher is one of the most overrated players in the history of the game, sure he is good but he is nowhere close to as amazing as every media person makes him out to be.
Is there a way both teams can lose? I don't care either way. I hate the Bears and don't care much for Manning. I can't wait for the Saints/Bears game next year. Im sure it will be a monday night game, hopefully in the dome.
I don't think the Bears will allow for us to take away one of their home games. I just hope its early enough in the season for the weather not to be a factor. That game may decide home field advantage for the playoffs in the NFC. Will be interesting to see if Briggs is allowed to go free agent. Their D-line however is so damn good not sure if losing Briggs would matter much. And Mike Brown coming back makes them so much better in the secondary.
 Damn Gimp, you sound like me and the Bills for many, many years. I've heard that sentiment before, and I really don't get it. I remember seeing some stat that the Bears were winless over a couple of years if Urlacher was out. Some ridiculous number, anyway. As I mentioned earlier, he seems like a tool, but man, the guy is the most versatile MLB in the game (pending Demeco Ryans' development, of course.)
Definitely the Colts. It's about time Peyton made it to the big game. I still think it's really funny how there are LSU fans still bitter that Peyton and Eli didn't go to LSU as if it was a huge slap in the face. Get over it already.
Agree about the Manning thing. Peyton was supposed to come to LSU after the horrid 93 season under Curley?
I agree with both of you. I imagine it was tough for Peyton to pass on Tennessee, knowing that he had the chance to be a proud alum, celebrating Tee Martin's success. :hihi: I have a hard time holding a grudge against a guy not going to LSU, after they've gone pro. While in college, it's great fuel to the fire. But it's kind of silly to care about it years later.
I think the Colts win by three. Not a Viniahoweverthehellyouspellit field goal though? Joe Addai scores the go ahead TD with 47 seconds left. Then Rexy while trying to drive his team down for a game tying field goal, throws a pass deflected at the line of scrimmage by Dwight Freeney and falling into the arms of Booger McFarland. Co MVP's - Addai and Booger
