im trying to recall the games hes actually been tested outside of the pac-12. they beat a decent va tech team in a bowl last year. who else out of conference. im beginning to wonder if hes as great as i once thought he was. or will be on the nfl level.
I have him as a bust at the NFL level, or pretty close to it, especially if he is #1 overall pick. I don't think he'll come close to meeting those lofty expectations. Phil Simms called him out on his arm strength and subpar technique, and in watching him play I think Simms is absolutely correct. Don't be shocked to see Barkley go #1 once Luck doesn't have the most awesome combine.
