All bullshit aside, this may be one of the flimsiest reasons to base a decision. I don't know much about Edwards and nothing of his military career but all of the services are littered with what we call "Shitbirds".

From what I do know of him there is a high probability that he was in fact a shitbird

Rispone showed himself to be a kiniving bitch who’ll do whatever to get elected. I don’t want another Jindal; our fucking AG is another Republican bitch. I try to vote conservative but I’m not toting the party line.

Not to mention, I think Edwards is more pro-LSU. Jindal is the reason we kept Miles too long and I believe Alleva was hired under his watch. I think Woodward and keeping WW were moves supported by Edwards. I don’t trust Rispone with LSU or the state.

That was the Permian Basin - that pulled lots of oil work to TX. Offshore has been slow for years, but it's all serviced out of LA for the most part.

Can you give an example of Edward's regs causing LA work to go to TX?

Don’t know all the details but I’m ok with not 100% kissing big oil’s ass.

It would be easy for me to agree with you because I don't work in the oil business. I love it that I pay less than $2 a gallon for gas but the ool industry is very important for the economy of Louisiana. If they don't make money here there are a lot fewer jobs and the taxes they pay are a significant percentage of the state's budget. But screw em. We don't need roads and schools and stuff like that.

Exactly, its not always about "you" or "him" but the plethora of folks in South Louisiana that depend on it. Sad that people just shit all over something just because they don't care and to hell with how many lives are ruined because of it. This is exactly how the democRats operate.

It's comical. Republican's play the "Edwards declared war on LA O&G" (It's all about the Permian mega boom that flipped the script on the world oil market) just like Democrat's historically play the "Republican's will destroy the sugar industry in Louisiana by removing protections" card (No sane LA politician would do that).

Hey, BTW, Rispone wants the elderly - and everyone - to rot in cages if they self medicate with Cannabis. He prefers them pumped up with opioids.
