    i dont see why we are critical of presidents and their vacations. they work hard, all the time, and never really have vacations, because they are on call 24/7/365. thats why being president ages you so much.

    I agree. His vacation will surely consist of morning and afternoon briefings at a very minimum and if anything bad happens, he's on his way home. He works 7 days a week so if he want to work at Martha's vineyard, go for it.

    All Presidents take vacations. You are really stretching to find something with which to criticize Obama. :dis:

    With him, you really don't have to stretch anything to criticize. But like I said, this can only help.

    I agree that Obama is more than entitled to a vacation. The problem, if there is one, is appearances. His timing is as bad as the rest of the things he does.

    Presidents take their job with them. I never bashed Bush for it. I just don't see it as a big deal.

    People who hate Obama are going to find fault if he cured cancer.

    Sure you do. What do you see as Presidential failures from Obama? Ones that compare with the two failed wars, two recessions, multiple scandals, and bungles of the last administration.
