well Biden did say the USA would defend Taiwan if China attacked. He go a lot of blow back from that.
Biden said this: At a CNN town hall event, a participant referred to recent reports that China had tested a hypersonic missile. He asked Mr Biden if he could "vow to protect Taiwan", and what he would do to keep up with China's military development. Mr Biden responded: "Yes and yes." He added there was no need to "worry about whether they're going to be more powerful", because "China, Russia and the rest of the world knows we're the most powerful military in the history of the world". He was then queried a second time by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper if the US would come to Taiwan's defence in the event of an attack by China. Mr Biden replied: "Yes, we have a commitment to do that." The military is renewing focus on arming up against China. US military spending grows as policy shifts to ‘prioritise China’ https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021...ng-grows-as-policy-shifts-to-prioritise-china I think you are making something out of nothing here.
So who gave him shit for saying this and why did the WH cut the video from the Taiwanese minister and put up disclaimer?
I think it's one of many reasons that he is. It's bad optics, projects weakness, and doesn't send a great message to Taiwan.
I mean China gave him shit and they continue to give him shit because of his diplomatic boycott of the Olympics, embargos and sanctions over the Xinjiang issues, and his defending of Taiwan. We are reaching a climax with China and Russia (over Ukraine). I don't know what the fuck is going to happen.
I worry about Biden's health. What would Kamala do in these situations? Biden had his hands in China money like Trumps did but Kamala is way over her head. She can't even do what Biden tells her to do. We don't have a choice but we need that old senile man to remember his duty to the country. I fear Kamala doesn't feel a duty to the country. She can't even do her job.
