I hear that! That choking choker only had 7 hits and 4 walks in this series. .467/.579/.533 does nothing for me. A team that ranked 10th in the AL in runs should get rid of its best hitter? Please back this up with facts, logic or anything besides anecdotal "he's not a winner" talk.
he's supposed to drive in runs. can you give me how many RBIs he has had in the past 3 post seasons? here's some extra info to help you out - he's played in 17 games
yeah, make sure not to let that guy go he's a beast (as in Brad Ausmus beastlike....I threw that in for Tirk)
Jason Bay now has twice as many postseason homers as Vladdy. Jason Bay = 4 career postseason games Vladdy = 20 career postseason games.
Wow! I REALLY miss being in Fenway Park. ...shoulda kept my stake in our season tickets.... It's amazing how much the Sox own the Angels in post-season.... It's so one-sided. Kinda like how the Yanks owned Boston all those years. Speaking of the Yankees...how SWEET is was to see them home for October for the first time in 14 seasons...AND in their last season in Yankee Stadium. :hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
If a player could choose to get his hits with runners on base, the RBI record would stand at around 300. RBI are a poor measure of a player's worth. Mostly dependent on teammates (except for HR), which is out of a hitter's control. Angels' team OBP = .330.
Small sample sizes are fun. Mickey Hatcher has more WS home runs than Albert Pujols. One of these players is good.
