anyone play when they were younger? We had a field and everything. Took it very serious, played 4 on 4. Only legit whiffle balls, but we used the replica bats not the yellow sticks. We would play about 4 9 inning games on Saturday and maybe 3 on Sunday. It was myself and 3 close friends against one of my buddy's older brother and his friends, the brothers parents owned the field we played on. Sometimes I wish we could play again. I am the only one to have hit a home run to dead center, and the only one to pitch a perfect game. I had a wicked curve ball, but I had a really wicked rising fastball and a slider and change. Anyone else play?
I loved Wiffle Ball. If I could have made a baseball do what I could do with a Wiffle Ball I would have been a major leaguer.
I used to think Whiffle was for wussies, but that's probably b/c we played w/cheap, crap equipment. Sounds like it was actually fun. Hard to comment past that.

Wiffle ball is a manly sport we played when there weren't enough guys to play real baseball. You wouldn't be able to hit my fastball or my curve
We played stick ball at the bus stop. Used a shovel handle and the solid plastic balls the size of wiffle balls. Those things freaking stung when they hit you. You could throw someone out by hitting them, but you took the chance of missing and clearing the bases. Great games!
