JUST MY 2 cents! I was practically raised in Tiger Stadium/every game day Saturday night and always paid attention to what happened and what jersey was being worn; especially when LSU was in the "old, uphill battles" with inferior talent (size but not fight) against the "Big Boys"! I know this doesn't mean a thing for a great team like LSU, but the light jerseys look great for a photo and are easier for the quarterback to pick up down field, but the darker jerseys (dark purple) make it harder for the defender to find the ball on all the behind the line fakes, the quarter back knows where the receivers are to be and defenders can lose them easily.Dark jerseys help pass defenders blend. This theory hasn't helped a bunch of LSU's foes this year as well as other years, but in a close game, can be relevant! Jersey color can help or hurt! This team can easily win on talent and heart without the little extras as long as the "fight is in the dog", I'm sure! JUST MY 2 cents and I KNOW NO ONE CARES! GO TIGERS! :geauxtige:crystal::LSU231:
I kinda liked and hoped they would wear the ones from the AU Game. If they could have that same result and attitude as that day it would be great!
Not in the BCSNCG, of course, but I really liked the gold helmets we wore vs. Arkansas in BR in 2009.
Agreed the gold hats were cool. Want to see classic unis in the ncg but one non sec game a yr something different would be cool.
Any and all bowl games should have teams wear their traditional unis... with the exception of U La La. They looked sharp! The all white looks alright, but no hybrid uni's for rival games either. :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
