Something tells me you had that ready.

Really, the whole racist (yes, racist) "blacks are better athletes" shtick is outdated. Especially considering we are coming off a NC with Jacob Hester and Craig Steltz.

You are probably one of those idiots waving purple and gold confederate flags.

Oh, but I'm sure you have plenty of black friends.

Black people, in general, are better athletes. Look at professional sports (real sports), and the percentages of black people in them. There is no argument. Black people are dominating sports.

    Give it up, cracker.

No, I didnt have that ready. However, my common sense philophophy is generally turned on.

I didn't say blacks are better athletes all the time. Blacks have more athletes. It isnt a race comparision. It is a fact. Why do you think the south cranks out the best athletes? Because we have the best schooling, funding, and facilities? Wonder why the SEC is faster? Hint: It is not because God made everyone completely equal. Get out of your fantasy world.

We have quite a few people on this forum that like to spin things and avoid the original argument.

You haven't paid much attention to this forum, have you?

Ahh MAN! The P&G Confederate flag was workin fo me. :hihi:

I never understood how saying blacks were better athletes is negative, I wish the same could be said of whites, myself. No shame in being proud of your "People" is there?

I know I bow up when I hear someone say Coonasses are better lovers.

Baseball is not a real sport?

Racial demographics in sports have been changing drastically over the past ten years. Look at the NFL and NBA and you can see this.

The dominance of blacks in sports is likely more for social reasons than for anything genetic, and I think the trend of more whites in pro sports is indicative of this. (That said, no one said anything about genetics.)

Sorry if I came off as a jerk -- I grew up in Mississippi and I guess am hyper sensitive to anything that might seem even slightly racist (I grew up all around that garbage and I get kind of reactionary about it perhaps).

Anyway, this is a recruiting board.

Yeah, I live within feet of where Wallace stood in front of some door so I might have an idea too.

I think younger ages just don't see it as an issue as much --just the fact that it is.

I doubt anyone here is a real racist -- as in they hate black people. I like this board and don't like pissing off respected posters.

I will leave it at that. :)

Agreed. Off to recruiting as I ride away on my white horse.

    Okay, I kid.

Back to the original topic. Most southern states have the same prospects. Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi have a lot of players that would have been highly ranked but weren't due to grades or lack of exposure. It is really a wash.

Georgia is a little different due to the size of Atlanta.
