Which SEC "Elite" will fail to meet preseason expectations?

i think it will be uga. they beat the heck out of auburn, but after that they didnt play a single they wouldnt normally win in a normal year for them. so i think they are overrated, but they are very dangerous.

 

Georgia will lose at least 2 games.

Loosing Will Muschamp will hurt badly just wait and see, breaking in a new QB with a new Offense isn't gonna be easy. Auburn just don't have the talent to make up for these losses and new systems. They couldn't win it wiith a senior QB what makes people think they can win it with a new starter?

 

Funny thing...there are people who think that LSU is the team that failed to meet expectations LAST YEAR!:huh: It's true! Let's face it, LSU last year was Georgia this year...expected to be in the BCSNCG, and of course, expected to lose to USC. This year, UGA expected to be in the BCSNCG, and lose to USC.:lol: SO, technically, if UGA loses a game or two, or even if they go undefeated...and goes to the NCG against someone other than USC...and beats the shet out of whoever it is, they still will have failed to meet expectations...because they didn't lose to USC in the BCSNCG...which will peez off those that MAKE the preseason expectations what they are. Everybody got that??:shock:

 

One more vote for Georgia for two reasons:

1. I believe Richt's motivational ploys will not work consistently. They will lose a game that they should not and one(or two) against an elite team.

2. Watching them last year, they did look pretty good at times. But I also saw them against Tenn. where they looked really bad. So I am not ready to annoint them as the BSC favorite. I think Florida is.

 

Of all the "elite" teams, I'd guess Alabama was gonna lay another egg. Poor little old Nick Saban getting his bus "rocked" and having to suffer a three touchdown whipping in Tiger Stadium, and taking his mauled team back to Tuscaloser and praying for a miracle against Auburn. Then, they'll likely get whipped again by Coach Tubby and their favorite most loved rival fans will make their lives HELL ON EARTH for another year.

Alabama is going to be better this year, and nobody is considering them elite this year. I predict that they will be second or third in the West this football season, and that's a significant improvement over where they have lived for the last couple of years.

 

I'll go with Auburn.

Alabama is not considered one of the elite teams. Experts have predicted us to have another 7 win season, 8 wins at best. Crack kills but hate will get you there faster. :cry:
