Yeah, the accomplishments of all of the teams listed are impressive, but LSU has 2 NCs, baby! That is, I think, the point of the comparisons, based on success in the 2000 decade, who would you rather be....LSU. But, the flip is that even when the other successful teams listed here have had down years, there has not seemed to be as much dysfunction, and they were not being blown out. That is what many are worried about regarding our direction. Still will always root and support the Tigers, though.

I would rather an 9-3 season in the SEC then a 11-2 in the PAC or the Big 12. Jus sayin

Fixed. I repeated their stats twice since they won twice but took out the repeat. Sorry for the confusion.

Maybe it would help to give some people some perspective if you posted the records for LSU for the 90's. Then ask which LSU program you prefer.

I was at LSU from 86-92 (really enjoyed myself), and I remember the bad times. I was never the biggest Tiger Fan (my heart was always w/ ND), but I enjoyed going to the games. I was there when the earth shook for the Auburn game, and I was there in the pouring rain when it appeared the tigers would pull off an improbable upset against Florida St.

I think if more fans would think back to how lame it was to get excited about blocking an extra point to beat Vandy, they would realize how great things have been for LSU recently. You never know when it'll end, so you better enjoy the good times while they're here.

I know what I'm talking about. Back then I was cheering for the Irish to compete for the NC each year, now I'm just happy to see them squeak out a win against Navy. Quit complaining!
