perhaps i'm a bit daft, but i don't really understand the question. for me, whatever ours and any other teams' records are, i always want to be LSU. :geauxtige:crystal::crystal::geauxtige
Les Miles didn't come to LSU until 05'... not 04'. Remember we lost the Outback Bowl to Iowa that year under Saban on a last minute pass play that went the distance.
Let me see here............I have been a Tiger fan and LSU supporter for over 50 years........why would I even think about being another program. My Tigers will always be my Tigers, win or lose....... so I pick LSU.:crystal::crystal::crystal::geaux:
Okay, since I know what the original poster was getting at, let's take away the names of the programs and say you can choose one of these to be LSU's results from the decade, which would you want? It's a really interesting question, it puts into perspective what we've accomplished versus all the other top teams. I think aside from maybe USC's success, there's no team's decade that was better than LSU's.
Ditto, except for the 50 year part 25 years, yes, and plan to be until there ain't no more purple and gold blood pumping through my veins (but it will be in my casket, I presume). I like winning, but my devotion is not dependent on it.
