i sat in front of two jr high aged girls that were discussing the colors on the scoreboard, reading some of the ads out loud, critiquing the wardrobes of everyone in the north endzone, wondering why the entire team doesn't take a knee near injured players on the field, looking for the blimp, complaining about their favorite tv shows that have been cancelled, etc.

Did anybody really expect most to support Miles right now? He publicly embarrassed LSU as a whole and is widely considered a laughing stock right now. Win or lose he was going to be crucified by people either way in this game. It will be very hard for most to get over what is now seen as his image by the LSU nation (but has been his image for most others for some time). It will take some time and a change of staff to help ease the pain.

    Fixed. :thumb:

Face it, within one week Miles fixed the problems with clock management.

Friend, it's done. He apologized for it, took the heat for it, and won another game where almost the exact same situation happened. Nothing more can be said other than rehashing the same complaints from last week. At this point, anyone who has not forgiven Miles ot at least gotten over it, probably never will, choosing instead to by angry that he's still here rather than cheering for "their" team:geaux:

Can't pick and choose your fans or you would not have the type program you currently have. All those butts in the seats means dollars and without those dollars means no high paid coach to run a top notch program.

I was at the game, SW end zone, and the fans around us were good. There were some guys booing bad offensive playcalling near us, but I didn't hear too much about CLM and the staff, at least not from the people right around me.

I was with a fairly large Arkansas contingent and most fans were gracious too them. One eight-year-old, however, harrassed my adult nephew and teenage niece throughout much of the first half...and I mean, really obnoxiously harrassing them. If she'd have been an adult, my nephew would have gotten kicked out of the game. Her mother thought her behavior was 'cute'. If I'd have been sitting near them, I would have said something to the mother, and if push came to shove, gave the kid something back. The only reason it stopped was because the kid's family left early in the third quarter.

Still, my nephew didn't get anything other than that (he's also 6'4 and about 225)...and my niece is pretty. Other than the kid, they got a few good-natured tiger baits and a beer or two. My nephew was impressed with the tiger fans' behavior despite the horrible little kid. Interestingly, he was unimpressed with Arkie's coaching. He spent the walk back to the car venting about several decisions they made...just goes to show you that it goes both ways.

I know it is done and I was not supporting his dismal or anything of the such. I was just stating what was going on with the negativity in the stands, is that a bad thing to do in these forums? Did I cross a line?
