If we beat Arkansas, which bowl game are we projected to be in and against who? If we lose to them, then who? Do we even get a bowl game if we lose to Arkansas?? I know there's no way of knowing but just trying to see where all we could end up and who we play. Thanks!
I am thinking Peach (win or lose).....I have heard Outback if we win.....:geaux::crystal::crystal::crystal:
Outback, IMO....with South Carolina going to the Chick-fil-a (SC is closer to Atlanta, allowing more $ there)
You know guys...that's actually good news to me. Let's be honest...we stand a much better chance of winning our bowl game against a Big Ten or ACC team than we did one of those pass-happy Big XII teams. I think we'll beat Arky and then win our bowl game and end the season 9-4. If we had won last night, I don't think this year's team has enough to take out a Cotton Bowl contender. We would still have ended the season 9-4...except off a LOSS, rather than a win. A win to end the season off a JJ start will probably put his ability in the minds of pollsters thinking about next year and we'll benefit from that in August more than a Cotton loss. Of course, this is just my opinion.
Dingdingdingding! We have a winner. Post is 'spot on'. One of those Big 12 teams would have lit us up. I would much rather end the season with a bowl victory....not assured by any means, but I think we have a better chance against an ACC team or Big 10 team. :thumb:
Looking at the Chick-fil-a Bowl's website, they post a "short list" of ACC and SEC teams that they are looking at inviting. LSU is not on there.
Looking at tht short list, it was last updated on Thursday. It includes Ole Miss and when it is updated this Thursday I would assume that we would be swapped for them
Scout.com has LSU playing Virginia Tech In the Chick-fil-A Bowl....... Other projections can be found here: http://cfn.scout.com/2/557866.html
The Outhouse Bowl doesn't like the west and doesn't deserve us. Screw 'dem bastards! Atlanta, Dallas, or nothing... Atlanta is probably the most beneficial for us.
