I preferred Reid over Kenny Vaccaro for the Saints. I think Eric had a lot to shoulder last year with such a young secondary around him at times that it didn't allow him to make the plays he had previously. Eric is perfect for the 49ers and their talent level will allow him to truly shine.
Interesting back story: Reid is no stranger to Harbaugh, who recruited him hard at Stanford but lost out to LSU. "We were joking about (him recruiting me) at the (Scouting) Combine," Reid said. "He recruited me hard out of high school, but I was an in-state guy, so I was going to LSU. The story comes full circle that he drafted me."

Reid and Vance both had good games against Denver, Finally got a chance to see the game. Reid had a short interview set. Also Glenn Dorsey is playing for the 9'ers.

I was disappointed with how the Chiefs handled the scheme with Dorsey. He never seemed to be put in a position to highlight his impressive burst and quickness off the ball. Nagging injuries I know also plagued him. Some KC paper writer wrote a piece ripping on KC players from LSU, but Bowe quickly quieted that and Tyson Jackson who was drafted too highly has been solid. It's a shame Glenn was not featured more as I really thought he would emerge into a dominant inside presence.
