damn, add arizona state to mine. i knew i was forgetting one. i wouldnt visit alabama even if i was accepting a scholarship to that backwoods goat fucking place.
Arizona State was on mine. I basically took Red's approach. I took FSU first because of the women, Oregon 2nd because it's Oregon and they have good weed and the scenery, Notre Dame because of the history and tradition, USC because of the history and tradition, and ASU because of the scenery and women.
1. Washington 2. Florida Southern 3. North Carolina 4. Virginia 5. Oregon Would visit Pepperdine if they had a football program. I'd like to visit some of the Ivy league schools too but not as a 5 star football recruit.
A good friend of mine was being recruited out of high school, another player from his high school was being recruited, the only common school was UTEP. So they both took a trip there. They walked in the dorm, the smoke was so thick, you could barely see across a room. A bong was in the center. He said, you could almost throw a rock into Mexico. He ended up at A&M.
I once asked Mo Isom about recruiting and how she ended at LSU. She said it came down to Fla, ND, UCLA, LSU and one other school. She decided to make her visit during the Fla/ LSU football game. She said LSU stadium was rocking that nigh, after the game she called home and told her parents, any other visit would be a let down. I asked her why Ga Tech wasn't on the list, that's where her older sister was in school. Then she tells me, they don't have a women's soccer team.
Hollywood is way overrated, but Los Angeles is well worth the visit. Although, if you're just coming for the visit, my guess is that USC will do a better job of showing you the town.
