Yeah, I agree with you. I don't get it either, unless there was something disciplinary, behind the scenes. Someone mentioned to me that he was arrested in Orlando, but I haven't seen that written or heard that anywhere with reliability/credibility. Have a hard time believing that given his character up to this point, but any of us could have a bad night drinking.
Absolutely no way that could have happened without ESPN or anyone else picking up on it. With everything Perrilloux did off the field at LSU, even he was never actually arrested.
You said it. There are many things today that I just don't get. To possibly help you with what you don't get (possibly because I don't get it either) maybe the"right" situation didn't come up for him, in Crowton's eyes. Possibly, He might have pulled something stretching. Another possibility is that they saw something in the defense that they could attack more successfully with the other two backs. Either way, they weren't working very effectively, but we all know that Crowton will beat the dead horse thoroughly instead of going for door#2
Well this was something I said out loud around half way through the 1st. I really don't understand what this coaching staff is thinking. Perhaps on the biggest threats on our team is riding the bench. Really people this is simular to myer benching Percy harvin!!!!! Secondly I am kind of hoping Chavis takes the UGA job (I know he said he will back but there was this guy once who said that I think his name was $aban). How many times did we have them in 3rd and long then we played this BS prevent and they get the big play to keep the drive alive. It was just a little frustrating. Also if you are a defensive co and your players tackel like we did today (and for this whole year for that matter) he should be gone for that. I mean that is lesson one LEARN HOW TO WRAP UP! I mean we shoulder tackle everyone. That is unexceptable. Then there is "Les' best Oline that he has ever coached". They were sorry and if Les doesn't get ride of Stud we are going to be still frustrated on offense. I personally think if Les still wants this job he has to put on his big boy pants and FIRE Stud and GC. If they won't take the hint (like Stud turning down the position at Memphis) Les should stop playing nice and get rid of them. If things stay the same mark it down we will have a new HC in one or two more seasons. This type of performance (I know it looks great on paper but you have to look at the trends) is unacceptable. What worries me is we seem to me fading in the SEC. This current trend is very unsetteling.
I honestly believe that RS will be here one more year if he isn't on the field a majority of the plays next season. If he is used sparingly (equates to only slightly more than this season), he will go play Div I-AA, and transfer to a power, spread offense like UF, and torch everyone his Sr season.
So, you believe this b/c you know RS, or you have been in this position before? I mean, he is a Freshman with promise, but is not a proven commodity yet. He represents potential, that's all. The coaches know who to put on the field to give us a chance to win. I am not saying I am happy he did not play, but I am not coach, and I certainly cannot predict what RSs level of happiness or unhappiness may be. I know that if I were a Freshman on LSUs football team, ranked #12, that I would be happy to there and not be crying or thinking about greener pastures somewhere else.
