I read ESPN and the comments and to my surprise the bama fans are being very supportive and taking up for LSU. They want the same answers we want.
Ishtissle almost never posts in the off season. And he's been a huge Jefferson apologist who probably doesn't want to go there right now.
I don't think he was a huge Jefferson apologists. I read many a post from him about the mechanics and inconsistency. I think Izzy was a huge optimists with regards to JJ, probably more of a fan of Krags, and what he could do with JJ. He and others made a good point ... JJ usually showed up to play in bowl games. .. "bowl game JJ". Didn't happen this time. But to be fair .. the game wasn't JJ's fault. JJ had no say as to whether or not he played. JJ most certainly didn't have a choice regarding remaining in the game when he was struggling! That was all CLM. I kinda felt bad for JJ ... how embarrasing was that for him! I'm not savy enough to know if JJ had the power to audible out of the pathetic play calling and opt for more effective, short passing plays, but I"m going to guess that the skill set on the field has something to do with what you can or cannot do. .... or ... it could be that JJ is just a narcisists who thought that if he couldn't do it, nobody could.
Wow, my sentiments exactly. I'm done being pissed at JJ. He sucked, but it reached a point where he knew he sucked and his 3rd quarter eyes said, "coach get me out of here," but Coach wouldn't do it for whatever reason. He didn't feel it was fair to JL to put him against that pressure, but with that same logic, it certainly wasn't fair to leave JJ in there and subject him to what he's going through now. I'd be shocked if he even returns to school. He sucked, no doubt. But noone deserves their livelihood threatened in that manner over a game. It's quite possible that CLM ruined the psyches of both of his QBs Monday night.
Haven't watched ESPN since the touchdown. No radio except songy, and this is the only sports related anything I have done.
