Bama 05, i think they were 9-0 going into that game, and it was really fun watching the look on the fans faces. Especially those girls with the houndstooth caps on who looked like they were going to cry. And if i am not mistaken, that was the game that Laron Landry DESTROYED Brodie Croyle. But I think the Florida game can be ranked up there with the others in the last decade.

I like this one too. I believe it was a #5 LSU vs #3 Bama matchup too, so the stakes were high. It was also the game that the two LSU male fans kissed :rolleye33:

I think that was the home game in 06.

Good list for the 2000's. One I might add would be the 2000 Ole Miss game. Neither team was ranked going into the game, but Ole Miss was pretty good and had beaten us three straight. We won 20-9 to ensure a bowl bid.

Had to do some research, you are making me doubt myself.

in the 2006 Alabama-LSU game it was John Parker Wilson that Landry destroyed which made the YouTube rounds as well.

Good list, Izzy. Here's my order:

    1. 17-14 vs #15 Ole Miss in 03 - Closest we came to losing our shot at the NC that season.

    2. 41-34 vs #17 Alabama in 07 - The first meet-up with Saban, and kept us in the NC picture.

    3. 28-24 vs #8 Tenneessee in 06 - Coming out party for what was probably LSU's best offense ever.

    5. 33-29 vs #14 Florida in 10 - Impact still in progress, so could go higher or lower by year's end, but many of the "idiot coach" demons are exorcised by this win.

    6. 16-13 in OT vs #4 Bama in 05 - awesome comeback, and I believe Bama was undefeated at the time, so we took them out of the NC hunt.

    7. 31-26 vs #5 Arkansas in 06 - May have cost the pigs a title shot.

    8. 24-21 vs #12 Florida in 04 - Joe Addai's coming out party. Also vengeance for the only loss of the '03 season.

9a. 31-26 vs #10 Auburn in 08 - early season false hope to what was eventually a disappointing season

    9b. 20-13 vs #18 Georgia in 09 - see 9a

'05 Bama is my favorite. Russell to Bowe FTW.

Also, given that my favorite LSU player is Joe Addai, I have to say the comeback vs. Florida in '04. Russell started and threw 3 first half INTs but Randall came in and threw the game-winner to Addai in the right flats.

It was a week after the debacle in Athens, so everyone thought we'd get clownstomped.
