You're not exactly having the same football conversations that Hogville fans are enjoying. They dream of a 10 win season. LSU folks are pretty much locked into the idea of a 4 team playoff or bust. When you have big time expectations that haven't been met in a while, folks gonna get testy. But if you want, I'll try to convert a few and see what happens.
Do you see the irony here? You've thrown bullshit out there again, hoping it would stick, and in the same breath are pointing out facts? Now, the H/T for the funny part. Any other day of the week you'd have been bragging about LSU's Co-Championship with Bama in the west that year.
The minute Bob Bockrath was hired as Athletic Director Coach Stallings decided he was going to resign. He'd already been in a struggle dealing with Pres. Sorenson, and Bockrath was the last straw. In the other thread @lsutiga mentions control freaks. Not only did I agree, but mentioned it was a neccessity in Tuscaloosa. I'm thinking you mentioned Stallings as well. Not only does it take a control freak as a head coach, but it takes the right director and president. Sorenson and Bockrath ... good god. Look at the crap they created all in effort to control one program.
I covered the press conference tap. As in, I was there in person. He was joking around and the youtube clip you've seen clearly cuts into the middle of his punch line. He wasn't even talking about the Alabama job, for Christ sake. He was talking about his last NFL job and the opportunity he was given as head coach of Alabama. It wasn't news he was resigning. We all knew it and the presser was a formality, at its best.
Yes, and with the advent of Dubose and company we were heading to the dark ages. I forgot about Brockrath, but every time the chemistry changes at the top it's going to ripple. I know that coach Saban thought the world of Mal Moore and those dynamics came rushing in with his death.
Not anymore. I join a list of people that have been banned from the site. I think that reduces the number of active posters to 8.
Really??...more like you having something positive to say about an LSU team performing well under a new coach, not the love of your life Miles.
That's Typical Tap, trying to find some shread of evidence to try and back up the crap he spews. If you read his posts you'll also notice he quotes people incorrectly and tries to make it fit into some pathetic point he's trying to make.
