Might be a situation where a commit doesn't happen and he just signs which I heard today should be in a week and a half or so. I will check for the earliest date he can enroll. Like I have said, I am still hearing he is not visiting any other schools. Maybe that changes but as of now none are planned.
I don't know if there's been any official announcement yet, but Zach made his decision to sign with LSU a few weeks ago. The family asked me to keep it under wraps until after the game today. Too bad he had his worst game of the year today, but it was coooold out there on the plains of Kansas. You're going to like this kid. Even if he doesn't beat out Jefferson and Lee, he'll at the very least push them to be better. He did with Aaron Murray. I can't wait 'til next fall.:thumb:
I sure hope this is accurate! Not to be disrespectful to you, but I think most of us on this forum would like to hear something from an official source - and the sooner the better!
I knew you were sitting on it and tried my best not to step over the boundary. I have heard for a few weeks now that the only question is on the date he signs. We are very happy to have him apart of the LSU family.
Whooohooooo, would be a better description about how we feel about him being a part of the LSU family!!!
Wow - thanks, Gene! We are all excited about Zach coming to BR and Can't wait to see him in Purple and Gold.
I understand, but I've known Zach's dad since we met growing in the fairways at Country Club of the South twenty something years ago. Zach will be enrolled at LSU next quarter. He plans to have his Masters degree before his eligibility is exhausted. BTW, the reason the Butler coach decided not to use the placekicker in the game today is that he is going through a crisis of confidence. In a recent game, he missed two chip shot FG's and two extra points. Shoulda', coulda', woulda'...Butler never converted today and lost by one.
