Where did this sudden groundswell of support come from?

All we've been hearing for the past 2 weeks is replacement rumors on the strong assumption that Les was done. Every "source" confirmed this with the boosters apparently showing a unified front. Then within the last few days we start seeing cracks in the story and finally word of this shadowy "political support" today. So what happened? Did fans suddenly forget the ass-whippings we've taken all this month? Do people automatically believe every opinion from the mouth of the worldwide leader? Are we now satisfied with indefinite mediocrity?

Jindal did it, he's to blame. The only thing he should have contributed was ideas on how to contra flow traffic out of Baton Rouge for fans to get home quicker after games. Lol.

Maybe cooler heads prevailed... Maybe "we" don't believe we are doomed for indefinite mediocrity... Maybe some of us can remember more than the last 3 games...

Get back to me when we're getting curb stomped again next November to see if hope really does spring eternal.

Why don't we wait and see how we do between now and then first? Although I realize it's much more fun to assume we'll lose every game.

Not sure about the mithithippi schools since they lose a lot, but next season Florida, Auburn, Bama, and Arkansas will give LSU losses, and pretty sure aTm will still suck so I am assuming we finish 3-5 in SEC play, 2-4 in the West.

If you're content with being a middling second-tier SEC West team, then congratulations, your wish has come true for the foreseeable future.
