Where are all the big boys that were thrilled to play Bama again?

I agree. That is what winning and losing is about, but there is something, in my mind, worse about this. Miles didn't pull out all the stops. Which is confusing since the guy is known as the Mad Hatter. He's the last person I would expect to not pull out all the stops. How many crazy things has this guy done over the years, not always good crazy, but crazy none the less? You could say a lot of things about Miles, but timid is not one of them. Last night, he seemed to be afraid to do anything and when it became obvious that his plan wasn't working, he kept doing it.

Where were the trick plays?? Where was the 4th down attempts?? Even if he doesn't go with Lee, but he starts just flinging it around in the 3rd Quarter and trying some things, it would be more acceptable. They just lost to a better team that day, right?? But, it was the fact that they didn't try...I don't know.

The BCS is supposed to be a blind system designed to get the 2best teams figured out and together. It did that. Had roles been reversed in the first game you would have been calling for the rematch. BCS works, hate it, but it works The idiot cowboys had a chance to win out in a weak ass schedule to be in the ncg. They didn't. The 2 best teams played last night. One lived up to the hype, the other fell victim to it.

LSU would have certainly gotten back into the title game, had everything gone right as it did for us. (Oregon winning, then losing, OK State losing)

LSU had the better stats. Beat more ranked teams, etc. Everyone wanted them in the game regardless. The BCS still would've paired the top 2 teams as it did.

But I must say, I hope Oklahoma State is as "good" as they were this year so that they can finally get into the title game and get demolished by an SEC defense. I honestly think Vanderbilt could beat them, on a good day. (Say, the day they almost beat Arkansas this year)

You can be sure that the Oklahoma State players and coaches were watching the game thanking their lucky stars they didn't have to face Bama's defense or Trent Richardson. They were lucky to beat a soft Stanford team. Bama was clearly the #2 team going in, and came out as the victor.

So Bama is not the best team in the conference, they're not even the best team in their division, yet they are somehow the best team in the nation? What a f***ed up system.

Guys, we shot our wad against GA in the championship game. That was our season ender, if that is a word. We were never the same after that game. Not saying whose fault that is but someone should have taken a leadership role and not allowed us to rest on our laurels.

Saban, on the other hand, took that game as an afront and did something about it.

Heard on a radio talk show today from a Bama caller, who was very sincere, thanking Miles for saying he would be honored to play Bama again when he well could have politicked for his old school, OK State and his influence would have swayed some voters.

Had not thought of that. Maybe he should have. Maybe he should have made a case for OK State out of loyalty and out of what many of us believe to be the way it should have been. I for one sure have a problem with a non-conference winner who already lost to us being able to play for the N. C. But again, it's the rules and it is what it is and Alabama proved they apparently belonged.

I will bet this: if the roles are reversed next year. Bama beats us at our place, we lose only once, they win the SEC, we will not be the no. 2 team playing them for the N. C.

If Gundy wouldn't fight for Ok ST before their Bedlam game, why should Miles. Gundy's quotes about Bama being the second best team hurt them a lot more than anything Miles could have said.

Miles failed to get the team to believe Bama was the real threat.

Oh, I'm still here. "Didn't deserve to be there..." Did u watch the game? Do you know the outcome? Have you studied the stats?

Oh, one played as if they "didn't deserve to be there" and MOST UNFORTUNATELY it wasn't that team from Tuscaloosa.
