Where are all the big boys that were thrilled to play Bama again?

We just played a team that we already beat and that didn't deserve to be there and now our historic season is ruined.

Great huh?

 

Yep. Do we get a rematch now? We can play again next week. That's fair right.

 

We should have played better and brought a better gameplan. I don't think they deserved a rematch but thats the system everyone agreed to. Can't change the rules at the end.

 

absaloutley!! I have news for you.....tonight, with that offense it would not have matter WHO we played results would have been the same!!

Bama 12-1 and National Champions even though we split the season and played FAR tougher opponents.

Makes a lot of ****ing sense huh?

 

Only one to say that publicly was the HC, I believe "honored" was the term. Only trouble with all of this is if we run this horsesh!t offense out there against okie light we still phucking lose.

 

I wanted to play Bama again and guess what. Any resemblance of a quarterback and we win. Some of you crying because Bama didn't deserve it need to stfu, they proved they deserved it.

 

I don't think LSU could have beaten anybody tonight. The offense played like circus clowns.

 

Always thought the definition of Insanity was trying the same action and expecting a different result.
So one could say the play calling was "insane" tonight.

Did Montgomery get hurt? did not hear his name once

 

People said they wanted this game. I never wanted it. I pointed to some history with the 1959 team and it was duplicated almost exactly this year. I stayed away from the board for the last month because I knew what was coming. Now everything I was saying will be said by many, many more, but with a huge dose of anger and whining. No one should be surprised by this result. ESPN flashed a stat before the game that in rematches like the one we had tonight, the loser of the first game won the second one 5 out of 6 times. Also, Bama is the first non-conference champ to win the title since 1936, at least according to ESPN.

This whole thing was jacked to high heaven. LSU had benefited greatly from the BCS system previously, but we finally got burned by it.

Now we'll get to hear grumbling from OSU as well.

LSU had little to gain in this game (obviously the awarding of the trophy being the main thing (but not proving much on the field with a win), OTOH, Bama had nothing to lose in this game and everything to gain. I'm not surprised with the result and wonder how anyone here can be.

Sorry it came down to this. Hopefully, we will not turn on each other on this hard night.
