Don't hate you are anyone else here far from it. What I do hate is the pessimism and the true lack of football acumen here. Some of the post here is mind boggling in the lack of basic football understanding. We just beat 2 good football teams (make no mistake Ole Miss is a good football team) back to back with freshman everywhere on our roster. Then there is this fire the coach mentality which is insane. good offense does not indicate a good team. Old Miss sucks donkey d*cks on defense, they are the worst. 4-5 team =/= good team. We got very lucky they fumbled.
You make no sense. Yes they have a bad D but they put up a lot of points on everyone. They are rated 3 in the nation and 1 in the SEC in total offense does that register at all with you? They hung 48 points on Bama so did you expect them not to hang a shitload on us? Does that register at all with you?
You talk like offense is everything. In my opinion defense wins the tough games. Neither team had a defense yesterday. Saban started the modern day great defenses at LSU. Old Miss has a good offense but never enough to keep with the big boys. LSU has looked the same as them most of the year on defense. Look at the teams the webels outscored & beat. That's not good football.
Don't care this is an odd year. Too many outside of football dynamics and too much attrition, opt outs, key injuries and coaching changes to judge. For one thing how in the hell can we expect to be good when we have to play with two 18 year freshman QB's because you lose your 4 year junior QB who was ready to rock? That's just one issue we had to deal with and a mighty bid one. As far as D we had way too much attrition plus Stingley hurt and others in the secondary being freshman. Add to that the loss of Vincent. I will judge Bo next year you can do all the snap judgements you like but yours is based in bad data.
