He was at Texas A&M and K-State. I think he would be an excellent choice. He didn't do very well as a head coach but was a great DC everywhere he went. IMO
Courtesy interviews. A lot of the guys will be staying on staff next year, so it's good to interview them, find out their own philosophies about defense, so you can find someone that will make a good team with what they want to do. You don't want to hire a 3-3-5 guy when all your assistants are well-versed in the 4-3-4
you can get me on record as saying they definitely want him. but as for as what he will actually do, I am not familiar enough with him to know. he is the No. 1 choice, though.
