Perfect timing, Tenuta coaches the Humanitarian Bowl on Dec 31, is named LSU's DC on Jan 1st and is ready to rock and rowl the last 5 weeks of the recruiting season. Look for LSU to pick up a stud defensive player or 2 along the way to end the recruiting season on a high note.
they may announce it to the current players and to recruits, but imo, the chances of them announcing anything to the public before the game are slim to none.
Is he nice:grin: and well respected by his players? Besides being a good coach I think being able to "blend in" with his players while maintaining respect gives you a lot of extra mileage.
I'm pretty sure he does. He wanted that GT job really badly. I haven't heard his name come up with any other jobs, though, except for DC positions at LSU, Michigan or South Carolina.
Well, there are still some good teams that need head coaches, like UCLA and WVU. I'd love to have Tenuta, but if he has aspirations of being a head coach, I wouldn't expect him to be here very long if we did hire him.
I wouldn't expect him at WVU or UCLA..they've got a handful of guys that they're looking at and he isn't on either list, as far as I can tell.
