If you put Scott in, you get a combo of Hester and Williams in one. He can hit the hoes quickly, he's fast, and he shakes tackles like Cecil the Deisel before he went completely criminal. Not questioning too much, just adding to the discussion. BTW, I think Hester is the team's season MVP. We have got some incredible explosion in our future...can't wait to see it take shape. :geaux:  :tigereye:

The fact is that no team or coach is perfect. They get 20 seconds to make a decision we get to analyze for weeks afterwards. The best coaches in the country are constantly critizised & have shown no less questionable coaching than Miles.

You can blame the OLine on recruiting. If we had a good RT, our OLine would be much better.

    #1 in the country.

Best rushing attack in the SEC.

You sure make it look easy.

I tend to agree. Scott is perhaps a better runner than Williams.

Then you must be very happy. :rolleye33:

I don't know why. Have you ever seen Williams run right into the back of his blockers instead of following them and exploding into the hole when it opens? Yep. Have you seen him pick up the blitz? No.

Yes, he can run extremely well once he gets open. Yes, he has added the pass reception to his game this year. But he's still a raw sophomore and his superstar days are ahead of him.

We are the NUMBER ONE team in the country! What would it take to make you a believer?

    Nice post.

He got several early in the year when it looked like plan A was for him to be the short yardage back, which shoudn't have made a whole lot of sense to anyone, including the coaching staff.

That was my thought as well, during the first half against Kentucky. Flashbacks to CC against Miss St. Oh, man. Then he disappeared from the offense. WTF? I think LSU wins that game if Scott get's a full day's work.

I don't think it makes much sense that Hester has received nearly three times as many carries as Williams, and nearly as many as the next four guys combined. Hester is a good player and an excellent short yardage back (people keep talking about his receiving skills, but he's not being used as a receiver), but those other guys are really good too and are being underutilized, IMO.
