My only real complaint about Miles. I think Miles is allergic to a hot hand, and as far as I know there is no cure for that yet.
Hester has 140 carries for 768 yards. 5.0 yards per carry. He's a more complete package than KW. I do believe that KW will be a star. He's loaded with talent.. but I can't imagine giving him more carries than Hester. KW has better stats than Hester.. but stats don't show everything. We can't see Hester dragging defenders on paper. Anyone know if there are yards after contact charts anywhere? I'd love to compare KW and Hester on those.
now if only he played his best players he might win some sort of championship. this would start with our 2nd best counterfeiter in school history playing more. (i keed i keed)
He may be better than Billy was. With todays technology, who knows how real they can make those benjamins look.
I always thought that was the idea behind it? How much better could we be if we did play the best players according to each LSU fan, Democracy in action, maybe its time for a vote!:hihi: Who will organize the campaigns? Speaking of the first, Can you imagine what it would've been like to have Hester and Cannon in the same backfield? I might have to try that one on NCAA 08 since some of these threads lately are just insane.
drc40- sorry my 2nd post was not as enlightneing or as impressive as your previous highly intellectual 1875 posts:thumb: i try not to second guess the coaches or their decisions. i don't think there is a coach on the staff that does not want what is best for the team. i don't question the players' decisions either, they are after all kids playing in a very volitile atmosphere where they have to make quick decisions. i agree that the trust has to be in the coaches to play the best players and i agree that the coaches see the players each and every week at practice. I am fine with our team as is, we are 9-1, sec west champs, and if we play well, will win the seccg and compete in the bcsncg. that in itself is a great accomplishment. but as a fan of LSU football, not just keiland williams, i think it is a legitimate question i pose about the rb situation.
i also agree that the question should be when will lsu play a complete game? the last one was Va Tech. i am an avid fan, but the Tigers have not given me any hope or reason to believe that they will all of a sudden turn into a highly poished team. I think we struggle through the rest of the season, playing half the game, making penalties and still winning. at the end of the day all i really care about is that we win. i think the good news is that our players are good enough and talented enough to overcoe their own mistakes and keep winning. they know what lies ahead and what has to be done to get to the bcsncg, so i have faith that even if we struggle, we will still get there
