That's when you know you have the best secondary in the country.

Don't let any Bama fan try to convince you otherwise.

    So true..........

    Think about this one.......

When LSU won the BCS national championships in 2003 and 2007 Kirston Pittman was the only player to earn two BCS championship rings, he had a 6th year of eligibility.

If LSU wins the title in 2011 9 Tigers could be eligible to join Pittman. Will Blackwell, Ron Brooks, Joey Crappell, Josh Dworaczyk, Stefoin Francois, T-Bob Hebert, Mitch Joseph, Jarrett Lee, and Alex Russian.

How difficult is the process for medical redshirts and a 6th season? Sometimes players get it granted, other times not. I never knew the rhyme or reason to the process.

I hope Dworaczyk gets one, because he was headed for a monster season and being picked in the NFL draft. He needs this badly, as an NFL career is still very much looming for him.

Thanks for posting that. I swear this morning I was wondering how many of our kids would be getting a second ring and wanted to post, asking.
