Erickson is now the running backs coach at Utah. He is 66 so maybe that's all he wants to do now. The Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers have plenty of resouces. Seattle is owned by the richest NFL owner but there is a salary cap. He was 31-33 with the Seahawks and only 9-23 with the 49ers. Butch Davis was 28-23 in 4 years at North Carolina. Fairly respectable at another basketball school. He was only 24-35 with the Cleveland Browns but the Browns are a terrible organization. Its like a coaches graveyard. Davis was recently hired as an ESPN analyst.

Erickson RB Coach at Utah, Davis was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an adviser in February 2012 and see above.
A few others that come up at times, Bob Davie HC New Mexico, Terry Bowden HC Akron, Frank Solich HC Ohio, Larry Coker HC UTSA, Dennis Franchione HC Texas St. Many of these guys had major gigs that didn't work out. Many were hot names in the coaching profession.

There are other Alabama forums that aren't intimidated by dissenting opinions.

But are they run by a brother-husband/sister-wife combination like Tidefans?

You can come to mine if you like.

I just added a SEC Pick-'em contest that's built just like a Sportsbook (money lines, betting against the spread, etc.) If for no other reason, it's a lot of fun in the season.

(I took the recommendation of @BRETT and switched to XenForo software just after spring camp. I'm still building it...but you'll be able to get around easily.)

@VampMuse Comparisons like that, there, will incur some wrath.

Les miles isn't leaving LSU...even for Michigan. He and his family are entrenched, this is their home. He has the best OC/DC tandem in college football, a hotbed recruiting ground, and the best tasting turf in the nation at Tiger Stadium, which in case the idiots have forgotten now holds over 100,000 people.

Why is it that anytime this subject comes up this is the direction the conversation goes?

Short answer is people are dumbasses.

Just stfu already and enjoy this highly successful time of LSU football.
