Will Les contact Joe immediately after he returns for damage control? I say this because I think he is a big piece of this recruiting class and I know Pete Carrol we try topaint a negative picture about LSU.

They said it's just for the weekend, so my guess would be he'll be back by Monday. Plus, if he prefers USC on LSU, let USC have him, maybe they'll treat him like RB after he left!! Im very comfortable with the uprising stardom of Keiland Williams!!

You keep talking like McKnight is no big deal, in fact you said, "He's just another recruit". Believe me, he's not. Keiland will be a hoss but having McKnight would be a big boost to our offense. He's a threat every time he touches the ball. :thumb:

I agree...there is a reason USC has stayed atop college football...they keep filling their team with 5 stars. Not good if LA starts contributing to that...we need to keep our studs at home.

Well said, McKnight is far from "just another recruit." This kid is the most highly coveted player from Louisiana since probably Brock Berlin who was all everything coming out. McKnight is the epitomy of versatility, he is a real game breaker. He has the moves, vision, speed, balance, and deceptive power to be a great back. Yet he has the hands of a big time WR. If USC were to get McKnight it would be a huge loss from an athletic stand point, but also a moral loss. McKnight is a rare prospect, losing him would be a big let down.

Why I say that is because ppl talk about McKnight as if he is the most important thing to LSU, dont get me wrong, I know he's the no. 2 recruit in the country but he's not a must, he's a bonus. I'd be very glad to see him in purple and gold cutting all through the tough SEC defenses, but I wont be sad if he chooses something else.
    GEAUX Keiland!!!

I for one will be extremely disappointed if he goes to another school. LSU has made progress in stopping the 5-star drain out of the state, but we still have work to do.

I guess the thing is, we feel LSU is finally a top tier team in the country, and can't comprehend why a recruit, even the recruits with all the stars or planets or whatever, would want to go anywhere else. This is where it's at, right in their own backyard.

Very good point. To enjoy success you also would need good supporting cast. Although the threat of Saban snatching Mcknight seems quite real because of long time contacts, it still doesn't make sense that he would go to Bama. Ultimately a horse race between LSU and USC. Does he know Louisiana and his family would like him to stay?
