Hell they missed calls, got em wrong, missed spots, didn't call personal fouls, holding or blocks in the back either. Then got that interception wrong, replayed it and got it wrong when it was even more obvious it was a pick. They get more breaks and gimmes than any other NCAA program, period, and their fans think they are owed it, like it's their divine right. Fuckers, screw em.
That's the point, the whole world knows, it was that obvious. Close calls are one thing and go both ways, but this one wasn't even close, there was no doubt.
Going to bring all that up myself, beat me to it. The other nick name for the gumps would have to be "hold-U". Never seen so many damn missed holds in my life until we play the gumps every year.
I can see both sides to that call; and I'm not sure which one is correct. As it has been explained to me from one of the SEC refs that lives here in Charleston the conversation between the replay booth and the officials was whether Julio touched the ball. If the on the field official was correct and Julio did touch it then, by rule, it's not an interception: therefore, no undisputable proof to over turn the call. If Julio didn't touch it it's an INT. I can't tell by any video I've watched...it's one of those "oh well, that's how the call goes." It reminds me, A LOT, of a game against Arkansas when there were a lot of question about a touchdown pass for UArk hitting the turf. I still say it looks like it, but I wasn't on the field so I can't say one way or another. I don't like questionable calls in any games but anyone who thinks it won't happen, and continue to happen, is fooling themselves while making a fool of themselves. Hey, I've seen Bama fans complain with that "fix is in" line. I don't care of it from them, or anyone else. Anyone who gives in to that hyperbole has some serious issues. I'm lost for a word or phrase to describe them.
WTF? So you're saying if a WR touches the ball before a defender catches it with both feet down in the field of play that's an incomplete pass? Good try gump, but the whole world saw an interception. The call on the field was that he didn't get either foot down, that was the review. That was the only thing that needed to be overturned. He clearly got BOTH down with control of the ball, review over.
Man, I hate fuckin' gumps. The most self-indulgent, self-entitled, delusional and 100% bullshit-laden fanbase in the history of organized sports.
I'd suggest you familiarize yourself with the rule book. If the receiver has contact with the ball and he's out of bounds it's a dead ball.
