apparently you dont, but its a degree question. Romney has always done this. But Ryan is the worst kind of person in this matter, because he is a crusader but doesnt vote his convictions. But if Romney is a true conservative then Im white and jewish with a 2 inch pecker.
Obama flipped on a number of issues, like gay marriage, but he says he evolved. One guy knows how to bullshit his way out of it and the other doesn't. Talent isnt equal.

Is that what you're going to base your vote on? Who's the better liar.

Thinking has nothing to do with health care, state functions, or slavery.

Slavery is just wrong, not sure what your point here is. That is why the State'S bound together to rid us of that backwards thinking. That is why people died to ensure it never happened in the US again.

However, the demographics differ from state to state and so do social views on social programs.

Each state could easily manage these based on their populous rather than a federal, master of none, type policy.

A state run health care system is OK b/c the local populous can be OK with it rather than a nation divided. Also, the local business structure, tax system, and revenue can support such a system while other states might have a better more private solution that the local populous would rather.

Social programs and welfare programs should be handled at the state level and not this unorganized federal fuck bag of bullshit and back dooring deals.

That is BS and why I hesitated to use the term "states rights" as it has been polluted by the moral horror that was (and is slavery). While I can't make the cites Red always demands I have lived and visited in enough states to have seen many examples where differences in state and local laws and mores are significant. Likewise the 50 states are different labrotories for experiment and find the best solution for their issues. That is one way we find the best answers and can apply them in the way each state finds best.
The 10th amendment was NOT established to defend slavery it was established in recognition that each state is unique. Maryland has different needs and mores than Iowa or Illinois or Arizona or Vermont etc etc. It is a strength of our country and only lazy minds make demogogic statements like you did.

I think a large portion of our political problems could be handled by allowing states to run most of the bullshit we bicker about and allow the goverment to focus in on its most important dealings.

Leave all the bullshit to the states to figure out.

So you do not know the difference between a state and federal function?

Dude, it was an inside joke. If you had followed the other threads you would have seen that I was using martins annoying tactic of inventing a straw man against him. martin got it.
