i am not sure what there is to figure. the state and federal government are not the same. bobby jindal is not president. obama is not governor. they are two different things, the state and federal governments. you are just messing with me, you knew that.

OK, then you were just stating the obvious. Like, who gives a shit, amigo?

Funny, it appeared you were suggesting that big government is bad when Romney campaigns against it, but when he is the executive of the big government, then big government is good. Doesn't this make you a clear hypocrite?

it isnt that obvious to some folks who call romney out for flip flopping on two distinctly different issues. it is not a flip flop to favor a state doing something that you oppose the feds doing.

as you are aware, i didnt say i favor either, only that one could favor one and not the other and not be inconsistent.

So explain specifically how a state-run health care insurance system is OK but a federally run health care insurance system is bad. Don't dodge it by again repeating the obvious that the state and federal goverrments are two different things. Everybody already knew that. How can you favor one and not the other without being inconsistent, hypocritical, misleading, and careless with the truth?

in the same way one might favor a state police without favoring a national police.

really would be no reason for state governments to exist if they didnt manage things that the feds didnt.

Dodging the question once again. Let me repeat it.

Explain specifically how a state-run health care insurance system is OK but a federally run health care insurance system is bad.

Actually Red he did say he did not like either but understood that there is a difference in state and federal priorites and rights. Ever read the 10th amendment? Do you understand there are specific responsibilities given to the federal government and ALL NOT ENUMERATED by the constitution are reserved to the individual states. That is because each state is a society with unique traits. We aren't a homogenis white bread country. Ca is different from Tx than Delaware than Wisconsin etc. They evolved patterns of living and laws to deal with their unique circumstance. That is a basic and unique strength of the country and needs to be recognized and cultivated.
