We definitely have the talent there to win against Florida, no doubt about it. The question is whether or not everyone can keep cool heads, stay focused, hang on to the ball, and not jump the gun. Or if the coaches can manage the clock, have plays ready, etc... Minus the penalties and turnovers, LSU would have taken Tennessee out and put them far behind... thats what they'll need to do in the swamp.

    I agree Mike

do the small things and make your coach look good this week

Nothing better for Urban than to lose to Bama and then LSU back to back!

We get the benefit of the refs too since we are still undefeated.

The players will be out in force to defend their coach and restore their pride. The d plays lights out and jl has the game of his life. This game was just what this team needed to get it's head out it's azz and wake up. Lsu beats gators on primetime. Ridley runs for 105 jl passes for 225 pp gets int for 7. Lsu wins 24 -20:milesmic:

In 2005, Meyers brought an undefeated spread offense, straight out of Utah. He was strapped with QB Chris Leak and no Tebow, with visions of grandeur in T-Town. All the talk was how a Meyers offense would translate to the smash mouth defenses in the SEC.

A Shula lead Bama team puts a 31 to 3 beat down on the spread lite that day. The next season, Tebow gives Meyers the power to run short yardage and keep the chains moving. Brings us back once again to this year's version of the spread lite. Without that Tebow, Cam Newton, Pryor QB type to off set these little people, I still don't believe you can be ultra successful with the spread lite version in the SEC.

I think we the fans need to lighten up on our team and coach. Put the past in the past and leave it there. We are 5-0, and I see a bright future.

    - We have a passing game now.
    - We have a great running back.
    - We have a phenomenal Defense
    - And our special teams are good.

If we get rid of the penalties, this team can compete with anyone.

I like our chance to win in the swamp this week. Fl is going to have trouble scoring on our D. We always have trouble scoring, but manage to get some points on the board.

    LSU 16 FL 13
