And where was Pippen without MJ? Nique is a WAY better player. Nique is one of the most underrated players, he should have been named one of the 50 greatest players ever. Atlanta made a HUGE mistake. THey had the best team in the NBA with Nique, but made one of the dumbest trades ever. Trading Nique for Danny Manning, which threw them way off course. I grew up a big Nique fan, my favorite all time basketball player. His battles with Bird were legendary. Without MJ, Pippen was an avg All Star but couldnt carry a team. Nique could. Nique > Pippen.
That's a ridiculous statement that is unfounded. In 94, when they played the Knicks, it took a very controversial call in pivotal game 5 that allowed the Knicks to beat the Bulls. Had it not been for that call, the Bulls would have had their shot at another championship vs the Rockets. They would have beaten Indiana in the East championship that year.
I watched Wilkins a lot. He was the best player out there on most nights and without him his team would have been terrible. I know he had very little opportunity to do so, but I never saw Pippen carry his team nor do i believe he was ever capable of doing so.
Top ten in scoring and one of only 14 players to ever score 25,000+ points doesn't need anything else.
Kobe isnt Jordan but is still underrated - mainly because he is compared to Jordan and people focus on Kobe's negatives to show how great Jordan was. Both are similar. They were great scorers that attacked the defender in the same way. They are each great defenders and pretty much played the same position.
this time the closest NBA player to michael jordan was kobe bryant no doubt about it. he was better than any NBA player right now.
Kobe will NEVER equal MJ. That's phucking rediculous to even think that. Kobe's not even the best Laker of all-time. Gimme a break.
