I remember when the holder muffled the hold and pitched the ball to Dempsey and he ran for the sideline about 4 guys leveled him and sent him into a cartwheel all I saw was hand stub foot stub yikes poor bastard didn't have a chance to pick up the first down..

I fed a few to some pigs and kept the poop in a safety deposit box at B of A in Metairie.

Hopefully the link will work as I'm blocked from youtube at the office. It includes both the opening kickoff TD and Dempsey FG although both were before my time. I started working on the song during the preseason of the SB season, then got some help to make it sound more professional, finally my buddy put together the clips after the big win over the Patriots on MNF.

I requested the kickoff and Dempsey clips to be included but all of the other material was chosen by my friend. I liked how he included the old dancing cheerleaders. He's told me that he wished he had spent more time with it but I was impressed given the 24 hr turnaround. I think it will always be my best Saints item.

We had season tickets from '69-'75, and this was the only game in that time my dad missed. He had to go to a convention in Houston, and gave the tickets to a neighbor, who took my brother and me. He was listening in his car on the way back, and when the signal cut out, he punched a large dent in the top of his dashboard.
