We all have a few of these in the closet, but I'd embrace CC over a beer and ribs before OJ ANY DAY! CC sounds like he finally gets it now ... OJ, not so much. :tigereye:
I think he will. Dude was a tank, feet never stopped moving. Take him and put him in front of these kids getting ready for the draft, same kids never had 2 bucks and show em what money can buy. If he is sincere, he can make good to youngins what he took for granted from himself. He just gotta keep them feets moving...
That was definitely the case, but the sentence always struck me as unusually harsh. Does anyone recommend any details of his record? Not making excuses for him, but I don't recall that anyone actually ever came to physical harm because of his actions.
It was just a matter of time. Someone compared his sentence to Stallworth's. While Stallworth was able to buy his way out, it doesn't mean CC's sentence was too harsh. He would have eventually hurt someone. He is way more dangerous than Stallworth imo. The guys a bum and deserves everything he gets. No kind words or sympathy from me.
When you're still on probation for a sex crime and then you commit another one, the judges will throw the book at you.
He got caught up in the whole "treat women however I want" when hanging out with Master P and his crew when he was at LSU. Master P was courting him to sign with his fledgeling sports agent business (remember Ricky Williams 1st contract?) Broke into an apartment and assualted a woman here and LSU sent him on his way then barely 2 months later did it again. Went to McNeese and tested dirty. If he hadn't been hanging with the wrong crowd he would have had a different life I believe.
LSU's all-time greatest wastes of talent: 1. Cecil 1a. Stanley Roberts 2. Tito Horford 3. Ryan Perrilloux (incomplete, may have only wasted his talent where LSU is concerned.)
