I have heard a rumor that before the game they will lay the super bowl champions banner on the floor of the dome in the spot where sunlight shown through the roof during Katrina. They will turn all the lights down & then a spotlight will come down, simulating the eerie image. The banner will then be raised up from the floor & into the rafters where it will hang. Has anyone else heard anything about what they may do before the game?
Would definitely be interesting to see how people react to that. Are you silent? I mean it's the super bowl banner.
i would think quiet while on the floor, then cheers as it is being raised. would seem to be sort of more of a bit of "rebirth" symbolism.
