You are correct but games are meant to be officiated and leagues run somewhat fairly. If not then what is the point in having rules to begin with?
I don't think it would be good for a sport including college football, they lost at home by their own mistakes. Anyway I am rooting for any undefeated team left to stay that way. I am not scared of Bama but I don't think they should play us again this year. They had their shot just like last year.

I didn't say I disagreed; only that life ain't fair. If we're the only undefeated team at the end of the year (and Boise) I would think they were the most deserving- from what I've seen to now anyway.

If we would have lost in that game (especially as close as it was) we (LSU fans) would surely think we deserved another shot.

Most fans won't want to see a rematch. Right now it's Mike Gundy creeping up. He even said he wasn't so sure WE shouldn't have been watching THEIR game when asked if he knew who won our game.

We would have lost on the road and not at home, that was my point.

I think only one of polls that make up 1/3 of the equation give weight to venue (home/away).

The over is slim and the under is none.

I think that is exactly right. I doubt very seriously the polls will allow it. If Oklahoma beats the pokes then they will probably be in.

And to be honest, I don't want to see a rematch. I want to see us play a different team.

I think it'd be hilarious if Boise St. jumped Bama and got in the title game

Having said that, our season is far from over. I hope our players are not thinking which team they want to play in the NCG now (it's hard not to). We will not be as fortunate as in 2007 when we lost at home to Arky.

When I saw that a part of me died. I feel so bad for him. I heard the injury not only ended his season but might have some bad implications for his future in the NFL

I have no doubt that these two are the two best teams in the country. Alabama is truly the only team that scares me. We need to be careful in wishing for them again.

I would rather not play Bama again, but I think it's very possible we could play them again. Stanford could lose to Oregon and OK ST to OK. I think Stanford has the easiest way and we will play them in the NC if we win out the season.
